Normally model trains are not happy about the UV light coming from the Sun, but for a quick photo shoot outside they should be just fine. This weekend the weather was fine, so I took my brand new diorama outside and took some photos of it. I am always amazed how everything blends together when there is real life nature in the background.

The Märklin point mechanisms for the C track are magnetic and thus gives you the "click, click" operation of your points. With the Viessmann universal point motor (Viessmann #4554) you can now get slow moving points just like you see in real life. But is it worth your money?

The Trix C track is a derivative of the Märklin C track. Derivative means that some track pieces are not included in the Trix range. This means that you have to make them yourself if you want them. I have made a slim crossing track by converting the Märklin crossing track to 2-rail operation.
