
The Märklin Mobile Station 2 does not have a feature that allows you to set up multiple units (or double headers). If you are using DCC there is no worries, because it is dead easy to set up using the Programming on Main feature.

The Märklin Mobile Station 2 does not have an output for a programming track. Using a contact and some wiring you can easily create a programming track yourself. Check out how I did just that.

As you may know, I usually run my trains with a Lenz LZV100, a LH100 and a LI-USB for computer control. I do not use the LI-USB much, but I do use the LZV100 and the LH100 a lot. The Lenz system is good and does the job, but I am currently looking on other systems. I would like something to happen on the digital front, so I thought I would take the opportunity to look around and check out some of the other cool digital command control systems available.

Last year Märklin released an entire new family of decoders. One decoder to fit them all, so to speak. The decoder family comes in easy to install packages with the tools needed to re-fit older locomotives. The decoder speaks DCC, so you can easily use it with your DCC system.
