Märklin has two special kits for adding sound to Trix (and Märklin) locomotives of the families
ER20 (Hercules), TRAXX and classes 232 and 234 (Ludmilla). I thought I would try out a kit as I
have a few of the class 232, 234 and because it would be a fun little project.

The Märklin point mechanisms for the C track are magnetic and thus gives you the "click, click"
operation of your points. With the Viessmann universal point motor (Viessmann #4554) you can now
get slow moving points just like you see in real life. But is it worth your money?

The Märklin m83 (Märklin #60831) accessory decoder is actually a really good accessory decoder.
There are, however, parts of the User's Manual that can be a bit confusing to the consumer. This
