It finally arrived on my doorstep, the Trix Club wagon 2015. This year's
model is a sugar transport wagon of the class Kds 54. This is my review of the first Era III club
wagon from Trix, and it is a beauty.

Earlier this year, Märklin announced new larger curved points for the C
track range. The points are made for both Märklin and Trix C track. Unfortunately, there was no
drawing that showed how the geometry worked. This spawned a lot of guessing around the Internet.
With the new Märklin and Trix catalogue hitting the streets, the guess work is over, because a
drawing is now included.

Finally! The wait is over! Märklin has released two long awaited
expansions for the C track: Wide radius curved points. They are released for both the Märklin and
Trix C track, which is very good news. This article shows some renderings of the product, product
numbers etc.

The locomotives from the cheaper end of the Märklin and Trix product
range, also known as "Hobby Locomotives" does not benefit from short coupler guide mechanisms.
Instead the locomotives have a cheaper solution making the gap between the buffers a bit
unrealistic. This article describes how a spare part, a screwdriver and a few minutes, can greatly
reduce the gap between the buffers - and you can enjoy a better looking model.
